The Associate Vice President, 学生生活 works closely with 住房 and the 居民ial Experience and the Office of Campus Activities, which includes the Worner Desk, Arts and Crafts Center, and Student Orientation. 

Dr. Edwin Toshio Hamada, started his role as Associate Vice President, 学生生活 at Colorado College in September 2020. Prior to joining Colorado College, he served as Associate Dean of 学生/导演 of 住房 and Residence Life at Washington State University. He also has worked in various capacities at the University of Washington, University of California - Irvine, and San Jose State University. He has a BA in Psychology from the University of San Francisco, a MS in College Student Personnel/Student Development from Western Illinois University, 和Ph值.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Washington.

He has served as a faculty mentor for ACUHO-I STARS College and values authentic, mentoring relationships. He looks forward to returning to a small liberal arts institution where he can get to know more students and staff. When he is not advocating for students and staff at work, he spends his time tinkering with a few classic cars and hiking with his wife, 苏, and their 2 dogs.

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Associate Vice President for 学生生活 and is responsible for managing the faculty apartments which provide temporary housing for visiting faculty. Kim also manages the annual Student Health Insurance Plan waiver/enrollment process for all CC students. Kim has worked at Colorado College since 2012.
